If you select 850 or 700 rpm for cottons the machine will carry out
an extra rinse.
Synthetics and wool are spun at a maximum of 850 rpm. The spin
speed may be reduced from 850 to 700 rpm.
For delicate fabrics, the maximum spin speed is 700 rpm.
If you select 700 rpm for synthetics by choosing at the same time
the additional rinse option (see page 139), this rinse will be per-
formed with more water.
QUICK WASH
Quick wash
The quick wash option may be selected with all programmes,
except the following: Economy, wool, delicates, intensive and all
programmes with prewash. It is particularly suitable for lightly
soiled loads. The washing time is reduced.
VARIOMATIC
Variomatic
A specially gentle spin may be selected with all programmes, giv-
ing the following effects:
– for cottons, softening "C" and spin programme "F" a
VARIOMATIC spin programme is performed before the normal
final spin. The spin takes place in stages, so allowing the laun-
dry to untangle itself during and at the end of the spin pro-
gramme. The cycle time is increased.
– for synthetics/delicate fabrics
The "Rinse Hold" (water in drum) phase is eliminated and a sin-
gle gentle spin is performed at a maximum of 850 rev/min for
synthetics, and 700 rev/min for delicate fabrics.
– for wool
The "Rinse Hold" phase is eliminated and a single gentle spin is
performed at a maximum of 850 rev/min.
