    BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE • Your new appliance is designed exclusively for domestic use To get the most out of your new appliance, read the user handbook thoroughly.     PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS • Use the refrigerator compartment only for storing fresh food and beverages and use the freezer compartment only for storing frozen food, freezing fresh food and making ice cubes. • After installation, make sure that the appliance is not standing on the power supply cable.
  • Page 5 • To ensure proper ventilation leave a 1 cm space on both sides and above the refrigerator. • Clean the inside of the refrigerator before using it. • Let the refrigerator stand (don’t move it) for at least one hour before connecting it to the power supply.

    Turning the refrigerator and freezer controls to a cooler than recommended setting will not cool the compartments any faster. • Do not place food near the air vents in the refrigerator compartment. • A built-in exterior moisture control continuously guards against moisture build-up on the front edges.

This function deactivates both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. When the standby function is activated, two green dots will appear on both of the displays.

When the light changes from green to yellow, this means that it is almost time to change the water filter cartridge (90% of the filter life has been used).

    USE OF THE ICE AND WATER DISPENSER (ON SOME MODELS) Your freezer dispenses both cubed and crushed ice. When the appliance is switched on, the ice maker is activated and set to the “Ice cube” function. Its symbol lights up (yellow LED).

Repeat this operation whenever water has not been dispensed for a long time. You do not need to apply a lot of pressure to the lever in order to activate the dispenser.
