Writing Edid Procedure - Acer NA23WABAS Service Manual

Hardware Configuration:
1. Take the printer connector(maile) of a DDC multi-cable
plugged into the printer socket (female) of a desktop PC
or laptop as '1 PRINTER'.
2. Take the USB connector of the DDC multi-cable plugged
into the USB socket of a desktop PC or laptop.
3. Take a standard D-sub cable (male-male) to connect the
D-Sub video port (female) of monitor and D-Sub
connector (female) of the DDC multi cable.
4. Check all cables are well connected.
VGA CONNECTION
S1 Open EDID Write protection function
Turn off the power,then press force on " POWER " and " E
" button at the same time then press on " MENU "button to
enter factory mode.
Select "EDID WP" to let it be off.
Note: Please pay attention ,Don't change any parameter
which is measured by precise machine before shipping
out.

Writing EDID for VGA (1A)
S1 Chose the folder:" Acer-V233H-edid-VGA "
Double click " AcerEDID-Ana_only.EXE "
S2 Select Model: Key in password"cedid" then select
model which one you want to write EDID code that it
depends on panel type.
