USING LISTENING MODE

Listening Mode

"Listening Mode" is available in this system where multiple sub units (transceivers) are configured to only receive calls.
The usage environment and sub unit operation may be limited when using the sub unit in the Listening Mode. However,
more sub units can be operated with few base units (base stations). It is effective for giving instructions or replying to only
specific people and where other people only listen to the conversation.

To use Listening Mode, it is necessary to configure the system setup of the sub unit. To change the setting, consult the
authorized dealer or installer.
Overview of Listening Mode

Sub units in Listening Mode can only receive calls.

When there is an empty channel in the base station, sub units in Listening Mode can receive and send calls (Listening
Talk/All Call Mode).

Sub units in Listening Mode will start up in this mode when the power is turned on.

Sub units configured to Listening Mode and sub units in Group Talk mode can be mixed and used within the same system.

Up to 64 sub units configured to Listening Mode can be used.
