Overview

The following shows the flow of time adjustment
editing operations.
Setting Up the Player and
Recorder
Setting up the player
• Select DF (drop-frame) or NDF (non-drop frame),
according to the type of timecode recorded on the
tape.
• Put the player into 9-pin remote operation mode, so
that it can be controlled from this unit.
Set up equipment (see below)
Set parameters (see next page)
Select edit mode (see next page)
Select DF or NDF (see next page)
Set editing points and time adjustment rate (see next page)
Preview edit segments (see page 10)
Modify edit points and time adjustment rate (see page 10)
Execute auto edit (see page 10)
Check editing results (review) (see page 10)
Setting up the recorder
• Select SDI as the input video signal
• Select DF or NDF as the type of timecode to be
recorded.
• Put the recorder into 9-pin remote operation mode, so
that it can be controlled from this unit.
