The panel is seeing your command to enter programming, but something is preventing
entry. If you get the long beep for the Installer Code 800 command, try entering
programming via the "Back Door" by powering down the system momentarily, power
back up and hold * and # simultaneously on the keypad within 50 seconds of power up.
If you still get a long beep, then the system has been locked out by either the Compass
download software or program location *88 has been enabled for lockout.
When setting the clock and the * key exits the clock mode, this means there is a
partition armed. An easy way to disarm all is to type in the Master Code + 0 + 1. This
will globally disarm all partitions (whether they are used or not) and you will be able to
edit the clock.
The panel will not allow user codes to be duplicated. Once a code is programmed into
a user, that code cannot be put into a different user. If you are trying to add an existing
code to a different partition, you must type in the command to add the existing user to
its partitions (Master code + 8 + XX + # + 30 + Y or YY + # where XX is the user
number and YY is the partition(s) 1 or 2 or 1 and 2). The keypad will not show any user
information, however, Compass download software will.
The user code must be in programmed into both partitions before they can execute the
Goto and Global commands. Use the partition command (above) to enter the user into
both partitions.
Bell supervision has been enabled and an EOLR should be connected. The bell circuit
has been opened or shorted.
This will be displayed when an alarm occurs and the system was disarmed before the
signal was sent to central station.
Indicates the system's AC power voltage has dropped below threshold of 16.5VAC
(normal is 17-19VAC). This could be the panel loading down the transformer,
transformer wire is too long, the transformer has a problem and needs replacing, or the
AC voltage in the outlet is low.
The system is connected to a computer for a Compass upload/download session.
Indicates that a Compass upload or download is complete.
