NOTE: To satisfy separation of circuit requirement, low
voltage (Class 2) wiring must enter the enclosure 2 inches
(5 cm) away from the top of the board transformer.
See System Setup.
8. Using installer supplied 300VAC or greater wire and
supplied 1/4" single male, single female lugs, connect
generator 240VAC from generator side of transfer
switch to fuse holder installed in step 6. The transfer
switch and fuse holders are supplied with 1/4" male
spade connections.

9. Using installer supplied 300VAC or greater wire and
supplied 1/4" single male, single female lugs, connect
opposite end of the fuse holder installed in step 6 to
terminal block in labeled "240VAC GENERATOR".
10. Remove current transformers from current transformer
kit, cut two pole connector ends off of current
transformer leads and discard. Strip wires and place in
supplied compact terminal blocks.
11. Using installer supplied 300VAC or greater wire, run
wires from compact terminal blocks to control module
terminal block labeled "CT1" and "CT2".
12. Using installer supplied 300VAC or greater wire,
connect C (Common) and NO (Normally Open)
terminals on terminal strip J9 of control module in
transfer switch to control module terminal block
labeled "TSCOM".

NOTICE: Do not connect air conditioning load circuit
wiring to terminal blocks in enclosure labeled LOAD1,
LOAD2, LOAD3 or LOAD4.
Damage to equipment may result.
13. Wire the air conditioner thermostat control wiring to
the control module labeled "A1", "A2", "A3", and "A4"
in enclosure.
NOTE: A1 is for air conditioner 1. A2 is for air conditioner 2.
A3 and A4 are lockout's during power outage.
14. For 120VAC selected loads, remove wire from selected
load circuit breaker.
15. Connect the selected load wire to terminal block in
enclosure labeled "LOAD1" for priority 1 load.
16. Using installer supplied 300VAC or greater wire,
connect selected load circuit breaker to terminal block
in enclosure labeled "LINE" for priority 1 load.
17. Repeat steps 14 through 16 for all other 120VAC
priorities using terminals "LOAD2" through "LOAD4".
18. For 240VAC selected loads, remove both wires from
selected load circuit breaker.
19. Connect both wires from the selected load to terminal
block in enclosure labeled "LOAD1" for priority 1 load.
20. Using installer supplied 300VAC or greater wire,
connect selected load circuit breaker to terminal block
in enclosure labeled "LINE" for a priority 1 load.
21. Repeat steps 18 through 20 for all other 240VAC
priorities using terminals "LOAD2" through "LOAD4".
22. Tighten all wire connections/fasteners to proper torque.
See label inside enclosure for proper torque values.
• W hen connecting to circuit board terminal blocks,
fasten only one wire to each connector screw.
• T orque terminal block screws to 12 in-lb
(1.36 Newton meter).
