CAUTION
If
the

-Apply

temperature grease
to
the oil
seal
lips
.
Press
the oil seal
into the hole from
the outside of
the right engine
cover
with a
bearing
driver
set
special

faces
toward
the
inside
of
the
cover.

Radiator
Radiator Removal
-
Remove the radiator
covers.
-
Drain the
coolant
(see Coolant Draining).
-
loosen the hose
clamps,
and pull off
the
cooling and
breather
hoses.
-
Remove
the
mounting
bolts,
and take out the
radiator.

nstallation
is
the reverse of
removal
(see
Coolant
Filling).
Radiator Inspection
-
Check
the
radiator
core.
*If there are obstructions to air flow, remove
them.
*
If
the
corrugated
fins are
deformed,
carefully straight·
en
them
with the thin blade of a
screwdriver.
CAUTION
Do not
tear
the
radiator tubes whle straightening
the
fins
.
