Tire
Inspection
As the tire
tread
wears
down,
the tire becomes
more susceptible to puncture and failu
re.
-
Remove
any imbedded stones or other foreign pa rti-
cles from the
tread.
-
Visually inspect the tire for cracks and cuts,
replacing
the tire
in case of
bad
damage.
Swelling or high
spots indicate interna
l
damage.
requiring
tire
replace-
ment.
AWARNING
To ensure
aafe
handling and
stability,
use only
the
recommended
atandard tires
for
replacement. in-
flated to the
standard
pressure
.
NOTE
OCheck
and
balance
the
wheel
when
a
tire
i,
replaced
with
a
new
one.
