It seems as though the coldest temperature for the cold (blue) side is 38F. Is this correct? Is there a way to make the temp even colder?

The coldest temperature for the Micro Matic MDD23W Series MDD23W thermostat is 40°F, as indicated by the minimum set point (LS) for the blue wine setting. It cannot be adjusted to a colder setting since lowering it below 40°F would be outside the specified parameters, which could affect unit performance and void the warranty.
