Starter One-Way Clutch Installation

1. Install one-way clutch in clutch hub with flange of
clutch (F) engaged in recess.
NOTE: The one-way clutch can be installed into
the hub incorrectly. This will cause engine
cranking issues.
2. Clean screw threads in flywheel to remove all oil or
grease.
3. Apply Loctite® 272™ on the (3) bolts. Place hub on
flywheel and install (3) bolts.
4. Torque screws to specification.
One Way Clutch Retaining Bolts:
9 ft-lbs (12 Nm)

Flywheel Installation

1. Clean the threads, taper and flat of crankshaft to
