In this mode, SimpleShare receives its IP address and subnet mask, along with other networking configuration information, from the DHCP server on the network. Since most home gateways and routers use the DHCP protocol to assign IP addresses to the computers and other devices on the network, this is the easiest way to manage IP addressing.
