Projection Type 3D

To access
Tap Adjustment
ADJUSTMENT, tap
Menu, tap Projector and
then tap Adjustment.
The ADJUSTMENT
pane based on a 3D
Projection Type appears.
The ADJUSTMENT
pane contains a display
showing which
FUNCTION is currently

selected , and controls
allowing access to TEST
PATTERNS, IMAGE
POSITION, and
PICTURE MUTING.

Note that the Current Function is a 3D FUNCTION.
Test Pattern (Select)
A number of Test Patterns are available for use during the
IMAGE POSITION adjustment process. Generally, these
are specific to adjusting the projector for presentation of
3D content. Additional Test Patterns for general projector
alignment are available when the Projection Type is set to
2D.
1.Access to the Adjustment pane is only available when
the Projector is in ON mode, the Projection Type is 3D and
the selected FUNCTION is a 3D FUNCTION.

Position Adjustment
To select a specific Test Pattern, tap Test Pattern on the
ADJUSTMENT pane. The TEST PATTERNS popup
appears. Patterns available are:
• OFF
• RED1, GREEN1 and BLUE1 (all 3D)
• GRAY-2 FULL, GRAY-8 FULL and GRAY-10
FULL (20%, 80% and 100% white, Full Screen)
• GRAY-8, GRAY-10, (3D) and FRAME ADJUST
• PRISM ADJUST, CONVERGENCE ADJUST and
CONTRAST ADJUST
.Insure that OFF is
selected when
adjustments are
complete
To select the Test
Pattern image, tap
Menu, tap
Projector, tap
Adjustment, and
then tap Test
Pattern. The TEST
PATTERN popup
appears.
Note
When making a Test Pattern selection, other Projector
Settings remain unchanged but the selected test pattern
appears on the screen.
Make sure that OFF is selected when adjustments are
complete.
Note
Test Pattern CONTRAST ADJUST is enabled only when
Input C is selected.
Image Position (3D) Adjustment
Note
Image Position Adjustments can only be performed in 3D
mode and should not be attempted by anyone not fully
familiar with the process.
Adjusting the image position is a new function related to
support of 3D (stereoscopic) presentation. Image Position
adjustment has been introduced to support alignment of the
right-eye/left-eye images. Access to Image Position is
Role restricted.
Note
Prior to performing Image Position Adjustment set the
Projector to ON mode, set Projection Type to 3D and
select the appropriate 3D FUNCTION. Allow a minimum
of 30 minutes warm-up to insure that the imaging devices
have reach their operating temperature.
