Appendix
The following messages appear on the TV monitor when using the PCS-
5100/5100P and gives instructions on dealing with them.
Message meanings and solutions
Meaning
Dialing was not successful because the
selected entry has not yet been registered or is
incorrectly registered.
The incoming or outgoing call is not connected.
The line is busy.
A call has come in without the MAIN or sub-
menu on the screen.
Error No. 001
You cannot send a still picture (picture from
document scanner or video presentation
stand) as the remote party has selected a
menu other than the MAIN menu or GRAPH
menu.
Error No. 132
The SPID registration is wrong.
A document scanner error has occurred.
A printer error has occurred.
The printer is not connected or the power is not
turned on.
The document scanner has not been
connected, or the power is not turned on.
The operation was rejected by the MCU.
A signal error occurred. The line connections
are compelled to be disconnected.
The following operations do not work:
Remote camera control based on Sony
standard, sending and receiving the still picture
and user data.
The following messages indicate the state of the system. No action is
required.
Confirmation messages
The system, while in auto answer mode, has received an incoming call and is
connecting to the remote party.
Connection with the remote party has been completed the meeting can now
begin.
Operations for ending the meeting have been completed.
Wait for a while the initialization is completed.
The still picture is being transmitted.
Local picture is being sent via the MCU.

Make sure the selected entry is correctly
registered. See page 2-1.
