MOON W-7m Mono Power Amplifier Important Safety Instructions Read these instructions. Keep these instructions. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions. Do not use this apparatus near water. Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not block ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. - Page 3 To prevent shock hazard, all three connections must ALWAYS be used. Connect the MOON W-7m only to an AC source of the proper voltage; Both the shipping box and rear panel serial number label will indicate the correct voltage. Use of any other voltage will likely damage the unit and void the warranty AC extension cords are NOT recommended for use with this product.

Before setting up your new MOON W-7m, we encourage you to please read this manual thoroughly to properly acquaint yourself with its features. We hope you enjoy listening to the MOON W-7m Mono power amplifier as much as the pride we have taken in creating this fine audio product. -

(4) corner posts of the chassis. These tips will easily scratch most surfaces, therefore it’s advisable to follow these steps: Place your W-7m on a soft surface (i.e. carpet) and carefully turn it so that it rests on its side. -

MOON W-7m Mono Power Amplifier Rear Panel Layout Figure 1: Rear panel of Moon W-7m Mono Amplifier The rear panel will look similar to Figure 1 (above). There is one balanced (differential) input on an XLR connector and one unbalanced (single-ended) input on a RCA connector. There is no switch to toggle from balanced mode to single-ended mode. -

“Balanced Operation” on for further information. Do not connect cables to both the XLR and RCA inputs at the same time. Damage to both the W-7m and the connected equipment can result that is not covered by warranty. -

DC coming from your preamplifier or one of your signal sources (ie. CD Player). If your W-7m still doesn’t power up, turn off the main power switch and check the AC fuse. If the fuse appears OK, put it back in its socket and then try to power up again the usual way. -
