    The PRICOM C-6400W is a mini Print/Scanner/Storage wireless server. It allows sharing a printer, scanner and storage across a network. The PRICOM C-6400W will also support the status monitor in the Canon printer driver. This allows monitoring the printer status (Ink level, paper empty, etc) from a PC.

    Other Functions The other functions of the PRICOM C-6400W are shown below. Function Assign the IP address automatically using DHCP, BOOTP and RARP - DHCP/BOOTP If a DHCP/BOOTP server is working on your network, the DHCP/BOOTP protocol of the PRICOM C-6400W will assign the IP address to the PRICOM C-6400W.

    Using Wireless Communication This product operates at 2.4GHz No radio license is required to use this product. Take note of the following points. Do not use next to the following. The following equipment may use the same band. If you use this product near this equipment, the radio waves from the PRICOM C-6400W and the following devices may interfere with each other.

    To configure the parameters in Windows 2000 / Windows XP you must login as Administrator. Also before configuring the PRICOM C-6400W, it is recommended that you connect the PRICOM C-6400W to a printer.     Use the Scanner Server If you want to use the Canon MFP scanner function via a network, install the PRICOM USB Utility. The PRICOM USB Utility can connect a PC to the PRICOM C-6400W, allowing the PC to recognize the scanner function. The scanner can then be used the same as if it were connected directly to the PC.
