Installing the TCP/IP protocol

The TCP/IP protocol ensures that the PCs in the network can communicate with each
other. You must install this
connection with the Gigaset SE551 WLAN dsl/cable.

In the Network window, change from the Identification register to Configuration.
ì
In the Network window, check that there is a TCP/IP -> entry for your network card
or network adapter in the list of components. If, for example, you are using a Gigaset
PC Card 108 as the wireless network adapter, the list must contain the entry TCP/IP

If the entry does not exist, click on Add.

Select Protocol as the network component type and click on Add.

Under Manufacturers select Microsoft, and under Network protocols select TCP/
IP and click on OK to confirm.
