Type plate red=right instrument blue= left instrument To achieve optimum fitting TRIANO 3/3 P instruments are available in a left and right version. The different coloured type labels make it easier for you to allocate the instruments especially when being fitted binaural. -

Handling batteries So-called zinc-air batteries are used today almost exclusively in hearing instruments to mini- mize environmental damage. These batteries require oxygen for operation, which they ab- sorb from the air. The battery is activated as soon as the protective foil is pulled off and is used up even if you do not use your hearing instrument. -

How to insert your ear mould Make sure that your hearing instrument is turned off. TRIANO 3/3P: press the program button approx. 3 seconds. TRIANO S/SL / TRIANO SP: the battery compartment must be opened up to the stop. Grip the ear mould between your thumb and index finger and place the tip carefully into your auditory canal. - Page 35 Tip: Practice inserting and removing your hearing instruments correctly. One easy way to practice is to sit down at a table. Place a mirror in front of you and prop your elbows on the table so you can guide your hands easily and safely.

Notes for cleaning and care Ear wax accumulates on your ear mould. This can lead to inflammation in your auditory canal if the instruments are not cleaned regularly. Therefore: It is essential to detach the ear mould from your behind- the-ear instrument and place it in the cleaning bath for at least 15 minutes. -
