Operating the Answering Machine
The standard announcement is active again.
Recording is automatically terminated:
• if you exceed the maximum recording time
of 170 seconds
• if you pause for more than two seconds
when recording your announcement
Playing or Deleting a Recorded
Announcement
Open the Menu.

Scroll to Voice Mail and press OK.

Scroll to Announcement Setting and press OK.

Scroll to Play Announcement and press OK.
or

Scroll to Delete Announcement and press OK.

Press OK at the prompt.
The standard announcement is active again.

Playing Back Messages

When new messages have been received, the LED
on the top of the handset and the Mailbox icon
in the display flash to indicate that there are new
messages or calls.
If you have no new messages or calls, you can lis-
ten to old messages.

Press the Mailbox soft key.

Select Answering Machine and press OK.
The display in the example means:

The playback begins immediately with the first new
message. After the last new message, the old mes-
sages are played back. After the last message, you
will hear the end tone.
