Saving and changing the emergency
number
Emergency numbers are set to local (factory setting).
You can save an additional emergency number. The
emergency numbers are valid for all handsets.
Œ
You can dial the emergency numbers even if
your handset is barred for external dialling.
Open the menu.
Select the menu item and confirm.
Select the menu item and confirm.
Select the menu item and confirm.
Enter the system PIN (factory setting: 0000) and
confirm.
If an emergency number is already saved it is displayed
and can be changed.
Q Dial or change the emergency number (up to 16 digits).
Open the menu.
Save the emergency number.
Displaying and dialling the emergency
number
The emergency numbers are saved in the base station
and can be dialled from a handset even if it is barred for
external dialling.
Press the talk key.
Press the display key. Local emergency numbers and
the emergency numbers you saved are displayed.
Select the emergency number you want.
The connection is set up.
Œ
If a prefix (APL) (see page 77) is set it is auto-
matically put in front of the emergency numbers
as well as numbers from the caller list.
