- Page 2 Usually, the antennas should be as far apart as possible, creating the widest RF field and ensuring signal reception. In a diversity system such as the Shure Model UR4, as in the example in Figure 1, Shure rec- ommends that the two antennas be positioned at 45° angles pointing away from each other (Figure 1).
