Phone Book

The Phonebook allows you to store frequently used
phone numbers and the associated names in your
personal directory to make it easy for you to make a call
without remembering or entering the phone number. You
can store up to 300 numbers. Each entry can contain up
to 32 digits including hard pauses, with an associated
name of up to 12 characters. (Name entry is optional.)
Find
By Name
This option allows you to find an entry by its name.
Note: You can quickly access this menu by pressing
in standby mode.
1. Press

to scroll to the desired name.
To find an entry with a name, enter the first letters of
the name you want to find. The phone searches for
the first entry starting with that character.
2. When the desired entry highlights, press the Select
soft key to access the entry.
Note: All of the numbers assigned to an entry display,
including numbers stored into different
categories. Press

When you press the Options soft key, the following
options are available:
Call: dials the number.
Add #: allows you to add a new entry or a number to
an existing entry.
Edit: allows you to edit the phone number, name,
location number, label category and so on.
Prepend: allows you to add digits such as area codes
and network feature activation codes to a phone
number.
Erase: erases the number.
Name Ring: allows you to specify a unique ring tone
to alert you to an incoming call from the number.
E-mail addr: allows you to store an e-mail address in
the entry.
