Signal strength
Default signal strength: 0 (strong)
The wireless network signal transmission distance may vary with environmental conditions.
When selecting the desired signal strength, consider both the acceptable signal transmission
distance and the corresponding wireless network security. You can select a desired strength
with the slider.
Resetting Wi-Fi configuration
When the SINAMICS G120 Smart Access is in power-on state, holding down the reset
button for more than three seconds resets the Wi-Fi configuration of the SINAMICS G120
Smart Access to factory defaults.
Note
Before pressing the reset button to reset the Wi-Fi configuration, make sure that the Wi-Fi
communication LED on the SINAMICS G120 Smart Access lights up solid green/solid yellow
or flashes green. The Wi-Fi configuration is reset successfully when the status of the Wi-Fi
communication LED flashes yellow. After resetting Wi-Fi configuration, restart SINAMICS
G120 Smart Access.

Changing the display language

The SINAMICS G120 Web pages support the following user interface languages: English
(default), Chinese, German, Italian, Spanish, and French. Proceed as follows to select the
desired language:
