General information

■ Access codes

• Security code: This code, supplied with the phone, protects your
phone against unauthorised use. The preset code is 12345.
Refer to Security settings on page 42 to see how it works.
• PIN code: This code, supplied with the UIM card, protects the card
against unauthorised use.

If you key in an incorrect PIN code three times in succession, the UIM
card is blocked. You must key in the PUK code to unblock the UIM
card and set a new PIN code.
• PIN2 code: This code is supplied with some UIM cards and is required
to access certain services, such as charging unit counters. If you key
in an incorrect PIN2 code three times in succession,

code.
