    Unpacking Your Histology Freeze Plate is shipped in a special carton. Retain the carton and all packing materials until the unit is completely assembled and working properly. Set up and run the unit immediately to confirm proper operation.

    Electrical Power An IEC power cord is provided with the Histology Freeze Plate. It should be attached to the receptacle on the rear of the enclosure. Make sure that the power outlet used for the Histology Freeze Plate is properly grounded and matches the voltage and frequency of your unit.

    Pure grain alcohol may also be used to clean the working surface during operation. The Histology Freeze Plate can be cleaned using a mild detergent. Be sure to turn electrical power to the unit OFF and allow working surface to return to ambient temperature before cleaning.
