  • Page 11 Antenna connection Supplied FM antenna: Connect the FM antenna wire to the FM 75 OHMS jack and position the FM antenna wire in the direction where the strongest signal can be received. Supplied AM loop antenna: Connect the AM loop antenna to the AM and GND terminals. Position the AM loop antenna for optimum reception.

    System connections (continued) XL-DK227N AC power connection After checking all the connections have been made correctly, plug the AC power cord of this unit into the AC outlet. If you plug in the unit first, the unit will enter the demonstration mode. Note: Unplug the AC power cord from the AC outlet if the unit will not be in use for a prolonged period of time.

    Remote control Battery installation Use 2 “AA” size batteries (UM/SUM-3, R6, HP-7 or similar). Batteries are not included. 1 Open the battery cover. 2 Insert the batteries according to the direction indicated in the battery compartment. Follow the instructions from the website on how to download the music files. You can then play back these downloaded music files by burning them to a CD-R/RW disc.

This unit has 2 types of timer: ONCE TIMER and DAILY TIMER. Once timer: Once timer play works for one time only at a preset time.

Condensation can cause the unit to malfunction. If this happens, leave the power on with no disc in the unit until normal playback is possible (about 1 hour).
