An OFST annunciation on the Horizontal
Situation Indicator (HSI) or external OFFSET capsule
light annunciation is activated whenever an offset is
action.
(3) Waypoint Transition with Parallel Offsets.
The parallel offset flight plan may result in severe

geometry at waypoints with large course changes. To
resolve this condition the offset pseudo-waypoint is
never displaced along the inbound leg track by more
than two times the width of the offset. Figure 3C-54
shows an offset definition where the along track shift of
the pseudo - waypoint is less than two times the offset
width, resulting in a continuous offset flight plan.
