3-3 Checking and Adjusting the Signal of the System
Turning ON and OFF the character display
When you press [Character on] on the VCS Monitor
Level display to set it in invert video, characters or
figures are displayed on the monitor connected to the
CHARACTER connector. Pressing [Character on]
again will extinguish the display. This key has the
same function as the CHARACTER button on the
MSU-700A/750.

Finished
When adjustments mentioned in "3-3-1" through "3-3-
8" are finished, set the switches as follows:
REMOTE/LOCAL switch on the VA board of the
CCU-700A/700AP/550A/550AP: REMOTE
CCU PAINT switch on the AT board of the
CCU-700A/700AP/550A/550AP: Opposite position
of CLEAR
CONTROL switch on the VSW board of the
VCS-700: Opposite position of PRESET
