" Changing the sound mode
To enjoy in standard mode:
While the disc is playing, press the STANDARD but-
ton.
"STANDARD" will appear.
To enjoy with dynamic sound:
Press the DYNAMIC SOUND button.
Each press of this button changes the mode in the order of "MOVIE"
"NIGHT".
Press the STANDARD button to restore the normal surround sound.
To enjoy in surround or stereo mode:
While the disc is playing, press the STEREO/SUR-
ROUND button.
"SURROUND" or "STEREO" will appear.
Each time you press the button, the display switches
between "SURROUND" and "STEREO.
Notes:
! The sound mode is changed to "STANDARD" by pressing the DYNAMIC SOUND
button while in the stereo or surround mode.
! When the "Dolby Digital" or "DTS" indicator is lit, you cannot select the surround
mode.
! Some discs are recorded at 96kHz of sampling frequency. When this type of disc
is played, the sound mode is changed to "STEREO" automatically. The sound
mode cannot be changed during its playback.
