Possible cause
Batteries are flat or
accupack is flat
receiver are not on the
same channel
Transmitter is out of
range
Receiver's squelch
threshold is adjusted
too high
Transmitter does not
transmit a pilot tone
During scanning, an RF
signal has been
detected on this
channel and the
channel has been
locked
Possible solution
Replace the batteries
or recharge the
accupack
Set transmitter and
receiver to the same
channel
Check the squelch
threshold setting
or change the position
of the transmitting
antenna
