    Auto Lock Active Call up “Auto Lock” The lock mode prevents that the radio microphone is acci- dentally switched off or programed during operation. The lock mode icon indicates that the lock mode is activated. Move the multi-function switch to select the desired setting.

The pilot tone supports the receiver’s squelch function (Squelch) and protects against interference due to RF signals from other devices.
