I have several skm5000 mics. A few pop and short with the smallest movement. What causes this and how to fix?

Popping sounds in the Sennheiser SKM 5000 microphone with minimal movement are likely caused by handling noise and plosive sounds. These can be reduced using the red sliding switch inside the mic, which activates a bass roll-off filter. This filter decreases low-frequency noise (such as popping) by 6 dB per octave below about 200 Hz. Using a foam windscreen can also help minimize popping sounds.
