4. About 5 seconds after the last press of the plus or minus key, the timer
display stops flashing, and the cooking duration time is accepted and
starts to count down on the display.
A red dot will flash next to the relevant power level indicator to show
which zone is currently being controlled by the timer.
5. When the cooking duration time has elapsed, the relevant cooking
zone will be switched off automatically.
If there are other zones in use which are not being controlled by the timer, they will continue to
operate and will not be switched off automatically.
If you wish to control more than one zone with the timer, please repeat the steps above.
The timer display will always show the time remaining for the zone which is due to finish first. A red
dot flashes next to the power level indicator of the zone which is due to finish first, to indicate that the
timer display is currently showing the time remaining for that zone.
To see the time remaining for a different zone, touch the heating zone selection control key for that
zone and the time remaining will be displayed briefly.
When the cooking time for the first zone has elapsed, the timer display will change to show the time
remaining for the zone which is due to finish next.
Note: If there are other cooking zones in use, which are not being controlled by the timer, then they
will continue to operate when the cooking duration time has elapsed, and will not be switched off
automatically. The cook-to-off timer can be used to switch one ring off automatically at a time.

Residual Heat Warning

"H" will show which cooking zone is hot to touch. It will disappear when the
surface has cooled down to a safe temperature. It can also be used as an
energy saving function if you want to heat further pans, use the hotplate
that is still hot.
Note: Please be aware that the glass surface may still be warm for a while, even after the 'H' indicator
has disappeared.
