3.2.9 Temperature requirements

Thermal loading from the process and ambient environment affect the temperatures of the
electronics, as well as the seals inside the level transmitter. Figure 3-20 defines the limits of
ambient and process temperatures as they pertain to specific seal materials in the transmitter.
The SLG726 (high pressure high temperature (HTHP) process connector) must be pressure
de-rated at elevated temperatures. The pressure rating at operating temperature is specified in
Figure 3-22 and in tabular form in Table 3-15.
