Using Belts with Button Fixings
Place the transducer belt across the bed, so that the fixing button will face away from the mother
when it is fastened.
Lie the patient on the bed and arrange the belt around her until it is tight but still comfortable.
Fasten the belt by pushing the fixing button through the overlapping section of the belt. Ensure
that the fixing button and the loose ends of the belt are at the patient's side.
When you have positioned a transducer satisfactorily, you can attach it to the belt by pushing the
belt button on the transducer through one of the holes in the belt.
