What transmission is in a Craftsman 14.5 Kohler 917 52540 062895a ... I need the transmission number I'm thinking the transmission went because I have it jacked up and I can put it in say third gear and the tires just spin and they make a little bit of a clinking noise. I'm looking in the manual here and there is no troubleshooting for transmissions. I put the manual transmission in 4th gear on a sidewalk and it made a noise and now when I have it jacked up the wheel spin freely in any gear and there's a little bit of a grind when you spin them do you think I broke a drive shaft internally in the transmission and if so what is the transmission number on this tractor is it a very common peerless one were they use with a lot of different tractors just wondering I know it's a 6-speed forward one reverse here is the serial number and stuff for the information
