DO NOT install Astra 100RS remote starting system on MANUAL TRANSMISSION vehicles without verifying that the system is in Manual Transmission Mode. If accidentally left in gear the vehicle could become a self-propelled threat to life and property. -

In order to change the battery, first remove the screw from the back of the transmitter and separate the top and bottom halves of the case.
