The job of locating electrical circuits (AC circuits of 110
- 125 volts) is now made quick and easy. No more
guessing or trial and error when it comes to locating
the correct circuit breaker or fuse supplying electrical
power to an outlet or lighting fixture.
WARNING: Always check that the Circuit Breaker
Finder battery and unit are operating properly
before proceeding.
PREPARING TO USE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER
FINDER:

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Remove battery cover.
2. Connect 9V battery as shown in Fig. 1.
We recommend environmentally safe 'Green'
batteries.
3. Insert connected battery into battery compartment.
4. Re-install battery cover.

UNIT TEST

1. Plug transmitter into electrical wall outlet with the
power on.
2. Turn receiver on just until click is heard and the
LED lights. This is the maximum sensitivity setting.
3. Place receiver near transmitter as shown in Fig. 2.
If receiver is working and the wall outlet's power is
on, the receiver will produce a distinctive beep at
approximately 6 times per second and the LED will
flash.

USING THE CIRCUIT BREAKER FINDER:

LOCATING CIRCUIT BREAKER OR FUSE
CONTROLLING A WALL OUTLET
1. Plug transmitter into a wall outlet with the power on.
2. Check unit as in "Unit Test" section.
