Functional inspection

General inspection
WARNING! Never use damaged cables.
!
They can cause serious, even fatal,
personal injuries.
• Check that nuts and screws are tight.
• Check that all surfaces are clean.
• Check the cover and spray guards for damage or
wear.
• Check the drive gear for wear.
• Check chain and chain bar for damages and wear.
• Check the chain tension.
• Check the chain tension function.
• Regularly check the degree of wear on the drive
sprocket. Replace if wear is excessive.
Disassembly before check
WARNING! Always disconnect the power
!
cable to the saw unit before installation,
disassembly, cleaning and maintenance.
1 Disconnect the water hoses from the saw unit and
hang these on the designated place on the transport
trolley.
Disconnect the water hoses from the saw unit and hang
these on the designated place on the transport trolley or
box.
2 Remove the spray guards.
3 Unscrew the handle bolt and remove the cover.
MAINTENANCE
Cover and spray guards
Check the cover and the spray guard.
Ensure there are no cracks or holes from slurry blasting in
the transmission cover and spray guard. Replace cover or
guard if damaged.
Chain drive sprocket
1 Hold the chain with one hand and unscrew the screw
with the provided allen key. Remove the clamping
washer.
2 Regularly check the degree of wear on the drive
sprocket. Replace if wear is excessive.
