1. How to measure tire pressure
Use an inelastic but flexible narrow strip
or the like to measure the circumference
of the inflated tire (not including the
block patterns). Adjust the tire pressure
to the specified measurement. This
pressure may be above specification to
suit the rider's preference.
Never
use
a
tire
pressure
below
specification, which may result in the
danger of the tire being dislodged under
severe operating conditions.
Standard tire circumference:
1,735mm (68.3 in)
Minimum tire circumference:
1,725mm (67.9 in)
Cable inspection and lubrication
1. Damage to the outer housing of the
various cables may cause corrosion.
Often free movement will be obstructed.
An unsafe condition may result. Replace
such cables as soon as possible .
. 2. If the inner cables do not operate
smoothly, lubricate or replace them.
Recommended lubricant:
Yamaha Chain and Cable Lube or
10W30 motor oil
Brake and change pedals/front and rear
brake levers
Lubricate the pivoting parts of each lever and
pedal.
