7.2.3.7 PROFINET Chassis MAC TLV
The PROFINET Chassis MAC indicates the internal MAC address used by the PROFINET stack. This is not the
MAC address of any individual network port.
7.2.3.8 MAC/PHY Config/Status TLV
The MAC/PHY Configuration/Status indicates the supported auto-negotiation capability, the current
negotiated capability, and the Medium Attachment Unit (MAU) type of the network port over which this LLDP
message is sent.
Field
Auto- Bit 0: Auto-negotiation supported (1= Yes, 0 = No)
negotiation Bit 1: Auto-negotiation status
Support/Status (1 = Enabled, 0 = Disabled)
Bits 2-7: Reserved
Auto- Note: There are no AutoNegCapability definitions for
negotiation 100Base FX or LX (HD or FD). A device that supports
Advertised these must advertise "Other".

MAU Type 0x000B: 10BaseT FD
0x0010: 100BaseTX FD
0x0012: 100Base FX FD (Multi-mode fiber)
0x0018: 1000BaseLX FD (Long wavelength fiber)
0x001A: 1000BaseSX FD (Short wavelength fiber)
0x001E: 1000BaseT FD (Copper)
