    UNPACKING YOUR WASHER Unpack your washer and inspect it for shipping damage. Make sure you have received all the items shown below. If your washer was damaged during shipping, or you do not have all of the items, contact 1-800- SAMSUNG(726-7864).

    IMPORTANT NOTE TO INSTALLER Please read the following instructions carefully before installing the washer. These instructions should be retained for future reference. We recommend you hire a professional for installation of this washer. STEP 1 Removing the Shipping Bolts Before using your washer, you must remove the four shipping bolts from the back of the unit.

    Child lock Child Lock prevents children from playing with your washer. Once you have activated the Child Lock function, the control panel cannot be activated, preventing children from playing with the washer.     Never exceed the manufacturer’s recommendations when adding detergent. • This compartment holds liquid detergent for the main wash cycle, which the washer adds to the load at the beginning of the cycle.
