MANTENIMIENTO
5. Revise el varillaje de control del vehículo para
el brazo de control direccional del transeje.

6. Inspeccione el mecanismo de derivación
del transeje y el varillaje de la unidad

completamente.
INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE Cualquier
concesionario de servicio que intente realizar
una reparación de garantía debe tener
la aprobación previa antes de realizar el
mantenimiento de un producto Hydro-Gear®,
a menos que el concesionario de servicio sea
un Centro de servicio Hydro-Gear autorizado.
Ruedas de apoyo
Las ruedas de apoyo están correctamente
ajustadas cuando están ligeramente separadas
del suelo cuando el equipo está a la altura de
corte deseada en la posición de funcionamiento.
De esta forma, las ruedas de apoyo mantienen
el equipo en la posición correcta para ayudar
a evitar el corte al ras en la mayoría de las
condiciones del terreno. Las ruedas deben estar
aproximadamente a 6,5 mm del suelo.
INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE Ajuste las
ruedas de apoyo con el cortacésped en una
superfi cie plana y nivelada. Para evitar dañar
el equipo, las ruedas de apoyo no se deben
ajustar para sostener el equipo.

Ruedecillas
Revíselas cada 200 horas. Compruebe que las
ruedas giren libremente.
Quite la tuerca y el perno de la rueda. Tire de
la rueda hacia fuera de la horquilla. Para su
instalación, siga el proceso inverso. Apriete el
perno de la rueda. Apriete a un par de 45 lb-pie
(61 Nm).
NOTA: El neumático debe girar libremente pero
los espaciadores del eje no. Si las ruedas no
giran libremente, lleve la unidad al distribuidor
para el servicio.
Limpieza
La limpieza y lavado regulares, especialmente
por debajo del equipo de corte, aumentan la vida
útil de la máquina. Hágase el hábito de limpiar
la máquina directamente después de cada uso
(una vez que se haya enfriado), antes de que la
suciedad se adhiera.
No rocíe con agua la parte superior del equipo
de corte. Utilice aire comprimido para limpiar la
superfi cie superior del equipo de corte. Limpie
regularmente el equipo y la parte inferior del
equipo con presión de agua normal. No utilice
lavadoras de alta presión ni equipos de limpieza
al vapor. Evite rociar el motor y los componentes
eléctricos con agua.
No lave las superfi cies calientes con agua fría.
Deje que la unidad se enfríe antes de lavarla.
Tornillería
Revísela diariamente. Inspeccione toda la
máquina para ver si faltan tornillos o si hay
tornillos sueltos.
AVISO: Utilice siempre gafas de
protección ocular durante el proceso
de limpieza y lavado.
CONTROLS

Blade Switch

To engage the mower deck, pull the knob out;
mower blades are disengaged when the knob is
pressed down.

Service Meter

The service meter displays the total number of
hours the engine has run and shows when the
engine and mower need servicing.
After every 50 hours of operation, an oil can icon
will appear and stay on for two hours, before
an automatic reset occurs. To manually reset
the meter, turn the key off and on fi ve times at
one second intervals. To service the engine and
mower, see the Service Journal of this manual.
Note: The service meter operates (clocks hours)
only when the engine is running. Be sure to turn
the key off when the unit is not in use, to prevent
meter hours from accumulating.

Park Brake

The park brake is on the left side of the machine.
Pull the lever backward to operate the brake and
push forward to release it.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION The machine
must stand still when engaging the park
brake. Always
engage
the park brake before
dismounting. Release the park brake before
moving the mower.

Seat Adjustment Lever

The seat can be adjusted lengthways. The lever
under the front edge of the seat is moved to the
left (as seen by the driver in the seat), to adjust
the seat backward or forward.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Seat must not
be adjusted while unit is in motion.
Fuel Shut Off Valve
The fuel shut off valve is at the left rear of the
seat. The valve is off when the handle tab is
turned perpendicular to the fuel line.
