3. PRELIMINARY EQUIPMENT CHECK
Is there any physical damage?
If yes, where?
Will this prevent start-up.
All screws and bolts are tight.
Power supply agrees with the unit nameplate.
Electrical power wiring is installed properly.
Unit is properly grounded.
Electrical circuit protection has been sized and installed properly.
All terminals are tight.
All plug assemblies are tight.
Oil heaters energized for 8 hours before start-up.
Relief valve vents piping per local codes.
4. Chilled Water System Check
All chilled water valves are open.
All piping is connected properly.
Drain pipe is not clogged.
There is no leakage.
All air has been purged from the system.
Chilled water pump is operating with the correct rotation.
Chilled water pump starter interlocked with chiller.
Chilled water flow switch is operational.
Inlet piping to cooler includes strainer.
