Power Saving Function The HT-X40 automatically shuts itself off after 20 minutes in Stop mode. • When connecting the speaker wires to the speakers, make sure that the polarity (+/–) is correct. • Keep the subwoofer speaker out of reach of children so as to prevent children from inserting their hands or alien substances into the duct (hole) of the subwoofer speaker. -

Adjusting the TV Aspect Ratio (Screen Size) The horizontal to vertical screen size ratio of conventional TVs is 4:3, while that of widescreen and high definition TVs is 16:9. This ratio is called the aspect ratio. When playing DVDs recorded in different screen sizes, you should adjust the aspect ratio to fit your TV or monitor. -
