    Blu-ray Disc is a new and evolving format. Accordingly, disc compatibility issues are possible. Not all discs are compatible and not every disc will play back.     Once a DVD-R recorded in Video Mode is finalized, it becomes DVD-Video. This unit can play back DVD-R discs recorded and finalized with a Samsung DVD video recorder. It may not be able to play some DVD-R discs depending on the disc and the condition of the recording.

    Connections This section involves various methods of connecting the Blu-ray Home Theater to other external components. Before moving or installing the product, be sure to turn off the power and disconnect the power cord. CONNECTING THE SPEAKERS Position of the Blu-ray Home Theater Place it on a stand or cabinet shelf, or under the TV stand.

Insert the black wire into the black terminal (–) and the red wire into the red (+) terminal, and then release the tab. Connect the connecting plugs to the back of the Blu-ray Home Theater by matching the colors of the speaker plugs to the speaker jacks.

    HDMI output resolution will automatically be set to the highest provided by the TV. If you connect a Samsung TV to the Blu-ray Home Theater using an HDMI cable, the player can be easily operated using the TV remote control.     When the unit is powered on and you connect an iPod, the unit will charge your iPod's battery.     Connections CONNECTING AUDIO FROM EXTERNAL COMPONENTS OPTICAL : Connecting an External Digital Component Digital signal components such as a Cable Box/Satellite receiver (Set-Top Box). Connect the Digital Input (OPTICAL) on the main unit to the Digital Output of the external digital component.
