How to Install the Speaker and the Stand Turn the stand upside down and mount it on the stand base. Insert and tighten (Black) screws on the bottom side of the stand base. Place the stand on the floor. Insert and tighten 2 (Silver) screws on the back of the stand. - Page 20 Tighten 2 (Silver) screws on the back of the speaker. This is the successfully assembled speaker. Make sure that the speaker is installed on a flat and stable area. Otherwise it may easily be knocked over. To mount the speakers on the wall Drive a screw into the wall for each speaker and then hook the front speaker over them.

Center Speaker It is best to install it at the same height as the front speakers. You can also install it directly over or under the TV. Surround Speakers Place these speakers to the side of your listening position. If there isn't enough room, place these speakers so they face each other. - Page 22 Connecting The Speakers Press down the terminal tab on the back of the speaker. Insert the black wire into the black terminal (–) and the red wire into the red (+) terminal, and then release the tab. Connect the connecting plugs to the back of the Blu-ray Home Theater by matching the colors of the speaker plugs to the speaker jacks.

If the player is left in the stop mode for more than 10 minutes without any pressing any buttons, a screen saver will appear on your TV. If the player is left in the screen saver mode for more than 30 minutes, the power will automatically turn off except during playback of an MP3/CDDA and/or JPEG. -

SETTIng UP THE VIDEO DISPLAY/OUTPUT OPTIOnS This function allows you to set up the TV screen settings. This function depends on the disc or TV type. It may not work with some discs or TVs. With the unit in Stop mode, press the MEnU button. - Page 41 TV's screen will be blank. If the screen is blank, press and hold the STOP ( ) button on the front of the player for more than 5 seconds (no disc inserted). All settings are restored to the factory default.

The Parental Lock function works in conjunction with BD/DVDs that have been assigned a rating which helps you control the types of BD/DVDs that your family watches. There are up to 8 rating levels on a disc. With the unit in Stop mode, press the MEnU button. -

Level 7, 8 will not play. A larger number indicates that the program is intended for adult use only. Level 1 is the most restrictive and Level 8 is the least. Changing the Password Press the $% buttons to select new Password, then press the EnTER or + button. -

Samsung may offer upgrades to your Blu-ray player's fi rmware in the future.
