Note
If you want to reset one of the two
systems while using the Speaker Add
function, make sure to turn off the other
system.
If you do not turn off the other system
before resetting the Speaker Add
function, BLUETOOTH connection or
sound output may be interrupted.

If you do not deactivate the function,

the system will try to re-establish the
most recent connection the next time
you turn on the system.

Switch to SBC codec when using the
Speaker Add function. For details, see
"Setting the BLUETOOTH audio codecs"
(page 29).
Enjoying hands-free
calls
You can enjoy hands-free calls with
a BLUETOOTH mobile phone that
supports HFP (Hands-free Profile) or
HSP (Headset Profile).
To use this function, make sure that
a BLUETOOTH connection has been
established.
Use the keys on the touch panel of
the unit to perform this operation.
Note
Depending on the model of your

mobile phone, the operation system or
applications installed, some functions
of hands-free calling may not work
correctly.
This function is not available when you
• •
connect more than one BLUETOOTH
device to the system at a time.
The volume of music playback and call
• •
is different. Adjust the volume during
calling.

If the caller cannot hear or can barely
hear your voice, talk more closely into
the built-in microphone of the system.
Noise may result if the system and the

BLUETOOTH mobile phone are too
close. Place the BLUETOOTH mobile
phone further if noise is heard.
Receiving a call

Touch
when a call is
incoming.
When an incoming call arrives,
playback pauses and the system
emits a ring tone.
The caller phone number or name
will appear on the display.
Note
If you touch and hold
incoming, the call will be rejected.

microphone.

Make a call by operating the
connected BLUETOOTH mobile
phone.
When you make a call, playback will
pause and the system will emit a
dial tone.
