Call Transfer

Blind Transfer

Blind transfer is when you perform an immediate transfer without announcing the call
to the destination party.
While on an active call, dial the destination party on the numeric keypad. Press
Transfer (Blind)
...or click on the
...or select Call > Transfer > Blind transfer.
Enter destination party from the number
keypad. The Directory Dial window appears
(shown right), and the matching entry is
shown in the top window.
If an exact match is not found, scroll and
select a name/number, click OK.
To make a supervised transfer call
1. While on an active call, dial the destination party on the numeric keypad, press
Transfer (Supv.)
2. Announce the call (optional). The first party is put on ConsultHold, while you
announce to the second party (shown below).
3. Press
To set up the Supervised Transfer call, select Call > Setup Conference. Enter the
destination party, then click OK, announce the call. Press Enter to transfer.
When selecting the destination party from the BLF/DSS, Directory or Contact
tabs, the Strata CIX IP Operator Console automatically transfers the call if the
default transfer flag in Admin View is enabled. Strata CIX IP Operator Console
performs consultation transfer if the default transfer flag is disabled.
