Resetting the DOW1171 to delivery status

Procedure:
1. Unscrew the radio smoke detector DOW1171 from the base.
2. Remove both batteries from the bracket and pull the clips out off the battery
contacts.
3. Wait 10 seconds for the batteries to discharge.
4. Plug the clips back on to the two batteries and insert the batteries into the
brackets.
a The status indicator flashes three times repeatedly.
5. Press the 'New' log-on button until the status indicator only flashes once.
6. Screw the radio smoke detector into the base and wait until the status indicator
displays 'System search'.
a The configuration data has been deleted from the radio smoke detector
DOW1171.
a The radio smoke detector is ready to log on to a radio gateway again.
